Certified Data Center Specialist (CDCS)
This 3-day course is designed to bring participants to the level of a suitable sparring partner with suppliers. They will be able to verify offers provided by vendors for correctness, effectiveness, and efficiency. CDCS is a must have certification for professional data center managers and personnel and is a prerequisite for individuals wishing to achieve the CDCE status.
Certified Data Center Expert (CDCE®)
This five-day course is designed to prepare participants to analyze a given business case and perform technical evaluation for a project plan and a set of designs for implementation of a mission critical Data Center. The course also engages participants in product evaluations and demonstrates how to select equipment and develop equipment test scripts (IET) and integrated performance and validation testing (IPVT). CDCE builds upon knowledge gained in CDCP and CDCS® courses.
Certified Data Center Facilities Operations Manager (CDFOM)
Certified Data Center Migration Specialist (CDMS)
This course is designed to expose participants to all aspects of a data center migration. It provides a step-by-step methodology which will enable them to reduce the risks involved in such a complex undertaking. It will also provide participants with valuable and practical hints and tips used by seasoned data center professionals who have done multiple complex migrations.
Certified Data Center Professional (CDCP®)
The CDCP course is designed to expose participants to the key components of the data center. It will address how to setup and improve key aspects such as power, cooling, security, cabling, safety, etc, to ensure a high available data center. It will also address key operations and maintenance aspects.
Certified Information Technology Manager (CITM®)
This course is designed to teach the competences required of the modern IT specialist working at the senior professional, team leader, supervisor or management level in IT management and is also known as the IT specialist’s course. Candidates attending this course will prove that they have gained the competences required to provide leadership and take responsibility for team performance and development in dynamic environments.
Enterprise Linux Network Services (GL275)
This is an expansive course covering a wide range of network services. Attention is paid to the concepts needed to implement and troubleshoot the network services securely and to provide extensive hands-on experience. Topics include security with SELinux and Netfilter, DNS concepts and implementation with Bind, LDAP concepts and implementation using OpenLDAP, web services with Apache, FTP with vsftpd, caching, filtering proxies with Squid, SMB/CIFS (Windows® networking) with Samba, and email concepts and implementation with Postfix combined with either Dovecot or Cyrus.
Enterprise Linux System Administration (GL250)
This is an in-depth course that explores installation, configuration and maintenance of Linux systems. The course focuses on issues universal to every workstation and server. The course material is designed to provide extensive hands-on experience. Topics include installation and configuration; the boot process; user and group administration; filesystem administration, including quotas, FACLs, RAID and LVM; task automation; client networking; SELinux; software management; log files; troubleshooting; and more.
ITIL® 4 Foundation
The course covers the best practice framework of ITIL 4 at a foundational level. Students will learn about the service value system (SVS), the four dimensions of service management, the service value chain, the 7 guiding principles, and service management practices. ITIL® Foundation for IT Service Management
This course introduces the fundamentals of IT Service Management based on the IT Infrastructure Library. It describes the key concepts, processes, functions and roles of the ITIL service lifecycle. The course includes the HPE Race to Results Service Management Simulation and prepares attendees for the ITIL Foundation Certificate examination.
ITIL® Managing Across the Lifecycle
This course gives participants the skills to support an organization’s service delivery by bridging the service lifecycle stages. The course teaches the value of one combined service management practice as opposed to separate subject areas.
